马红Hong Ma

男,1960年出生,博士,教授。1978-1979年就读中国科学技术大学生物系1983年获美国费城Temple大学生物学与生物化学学士学位,1988年获美国麻省理工学院生物学博士学位。1988-1990年在美国加州理工学院从事博士后研究,19901998年在美国冷泉港实验室以独立PI从事植物分子生物学研究工作,19982008年任美国宾州州立大学副教授/教授,进行植物生殖发育、比较基因组学、和分子进化生物学等研究工作,20087月任复旦大学生命科学学院教授/院长。

Undergraduate studies at the U. of Sci. and Techn. of China (1978-1979) and Temple University, Philadelphia (1980-1983); B. A. degree in Biology and Biochemistry in 1983 from Temple and Ph. D. in Biology from the MIT in 1988. Post-doctoral fellow at Caltech from 1988 to 1990; PI at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory from 1990 to 1998; Associate/Full Professor at Penn State University from 1998-2008; Professor and Dean of the School of Life Sciences, Fudan University, since 2008.

 

主要研究方向 Research Interests)
用分子遗传学、基因组学和进化生物学、和生物信息学等手段, 研究花发育分子机理及进化、雄性育性的分子调控、减数分裂基因功能、 基因家族进化及其和功能、基因复制及物种进化的关系。
Using molecular genetics, genomics and molecular evolution, bioinformatics and other approaches to study flower development and its evolution, male fertility and meiotic gene functions, gene family evolution and their relationships to gene function duplication mechanisms and organismal evolution.
