Objective

According to the demands of education program, students are expected to measure basic knowledge, theory and skills of prevention and treatment of infectious disease and prepared to speed up the control and eradication of certain important infectious disease. This course contains overview, rickettsial diseases, viral disease, bacterial disease, leptospirosis, deep fungal disease and parasitic diseases. The textbook mainly consists of common worldwide infectious diseases and emerging infectious diseases in recent years.

Emphasis, Difficulty, and Solution

As time and source limited, clinical cases and bedside teaching of some infectious diseases and emerging infectious diseases can not be provided to help students understand the mechanism and clinical progress directly and systematically. Therefore, many vivid pictures, flashes and videos will be presented in the course to make teaching more lively and help students understand more easily and deeply.


Probation and Practice

Teaching on probation and practice mainly includes cases of hepatitis, diarrhea, central nervous system infection, fever of unknown origin and other classic infectious diseases. Students will be guided to participate the clinical teaching rounds following noted tenured professors and directors. During the discussion and analysis of 1-2 clinical complicated cases, students can learn how to collect the illness history, make physical examination, write history report and make an initial diagnosis and therapeutic plan and master some common medical techniques.

  课程的重点、难点及解决办法

  部分经典传染病和新发传染病由于时间空间限制,学生可能无法见到真实病例而获得感性认识,故该课程结合多媒体课件制作使用生动的图片和动态显示,使教学更加生动,加深学生的理解,便于教师教学、讲透。


  实践教学的内容与目标

  见习示教内容:主要内容为肝炎,腹泻,中枢神经系统感染及发热待查等,参加病房终身教授或主任教学查房,选择临床上典型、疑难或难治病例1-2例进行重点分析和讲解。在临床实习及见习带教工作中注重锻炼学生的临床实践能力,注重临床思维培训,在临床见习课中,让学生在教师指导下在床旁通过收集临床资料,再进行分析与讨论。
