OBJECTIVE

To evaluate the candidate’s knowledge in the Bacteriology part (from lecture 1 to lecture 13) considered necessary for the effective practice of Medical Microbiology.

EXAM FORMAT

The open-book exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions (40 points), 6 Definitions (3 points for each, totally 18 points),4 short-answer questions (6 points for each, totally 24 points ), and 2 cases analysis(9 points for each, totally 18 points), totally 100 points.

Candidates are allowed 2 hours to complete the exam. The time allotted is considered to be greater than required for answering the questions.

References including books, dictionaries, and print-out are allowed to bring into the exam area. However, any electro tools including laptop, cell phone, camera, calculator, iphone, ipad and etc. are strictly prohibited to use during the exam.
