Dr. Yang Wu graduated from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University where he got Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Medicine in 2003 and Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology in 2008. After that, Yang Wu received postdoctoral training at the Department of Microbial Genetics in University of Tübingen in Germany, and in Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in USA. His research area is focusing on the mechanisms of Staphylococcal biofilm and persisters formation as well as discovery of antibacterial/anti-biofilm agents.
