Dr. Youzhen (Jane) ZHAO is Associate Professor of International Business and Strategy at School of Management, Fudan University. She has got Bachelor in Science, Master in Economics and PhD in Management from Fudan University, China.

She has been a visiting professor at MIT (2015 ,2005) , Bocconi University (2010), University of Oregon (2004) and Washington University in St. Louis (2000). Dr. Zhao participated in the PCMPCL (Program on Case Method and Participant-Centered Learning) at Harvard Business School in 2008 and at Nanyang Technological University in 2009. She also visited Ryerson University(2015)，Norwegian Business School (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009，2010, 2013 & 2014)，LUISS (2010 & 2012), Payap University (2012), Yeungnam University (2010), ,FDC (2009), Columbia University (2007 & 2008), Danjiang University (2008), University of Pennsylvania(2007), Appalachian State University (2007), Aoyama Gakuin University (2006) and University of Hong Kong(2005) for short-term academic exchange. Her recent research interests include Cross-border M&As of Chinese firms, International New Ventures from China, Regional Headquarters and R&D centers of MNEs in China. She is the principal investigator of research projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education of China, the Foundation for Shanghai Philosophy and Social Sciences Program, Innovation Program of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Fudan University, Bao Steel  as well as international organizations such as Norwegian Research Council and The Fondazione Cariplo. She has been awarded honors such as “Model All-English Course” by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, “First Prize in Teaching Achievements of Fudan University”, “Outstanding Teaching Award”, “Kodak Award for Teaching Excellence”, “First Prize Teaching Award”, “Star of the Century”, “Best advisor to undergraduates” by Fudan University in recent years.

Dr. ZHAO is member of Academy of Management, Academy of International Business, China International Association of Management Research, and the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
