刘明秋，副教授，微生物遗传与遗传工程，专长研究基因工程病毒疫苗。主要从事口蹄疫病毒遗传工程疫苗、抗体基因工程、RNAi对口蹄疫病毒的抑制和猪干扰素的相关研究。在研负责国家自然科学基金项目、国家转基因重大专项和留学人员科研启动项目。在Vaccine、JVI、Vet.Res.等杂志上发表论文10余篇。获得云南省科学技术进步奖一等奖（2012年，排名4）、教育部技术发明二等奖（2007年，排名9）。承担《微生物学》、《微生物实验》、《基因工程》等课程的教学。曾获复旦大学优秀研究生辅导员、思想政治教育工作先进个人和优秀部门工会主席称号。
