J Liu received his Ph.D. in molecular biology in 2002 from Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (SIBCB), Chinese Academy of Sciences, and has worked at SIBCB and later at Shanghai Medical School, Fudan University. His main research interests include molecular biology of hepatitis B virus and other hepadnaviruses.
