教学大纲

基础英语（上）教学大纲

教学目标：
通过8篇精读课文和7篇外电新闻的学习，初步养成良好的英语语篇分析习惯，对不同的文体修辞风格亦能加以识别鉴赏。另培养学生具有查找工具书及英语专业相关资料的能力。

教学进度安排：
第一周：1. 课程介绍;

考核方式：
平时成绩30%（attendance, homework, and class performance, etc.）、期中闭卷考试30%、期末闭卷笔试40%。


基础英语（下）教学大纲

教学目标：
基本内容：本学期《基础英语》的教学内容以课本三，四，五单元所剩七篇课文为主。每篇课文讲解完后，选做部分课本上的练习，补充部分听写，翻译和写作练习。然后选读《纽约时报》或《华盛顿邮报》上的时事短评或科技报道一篇。
基本要求：要求学生熟读讲读篇目，对好文章的字词句及篇章上的妙处能适当加以分析。
