Biography

Dr Haiyan Ou received the B. Sc. and M.Sc degrees in semiconductor devices and microelectronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1994 and 1997 respectively, and Ph D degree from Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2000. Since May 2000, she has been with Technical University of Denmark. She is currently an associate professor in the Division of Diode laser and LED systems. 

Her research interest has centred on the area of Si-based devices with varied application from optical communication to nanophotonics and energy saving. She has published more than 45 papers in journals and conference proceedings with citation times of more than 100. She has been reviewer for journals of Electronics Letters, Optics Letters, etc.
