课程简介

This field research course will guide students in developing the capability of utilizing theoretical knowledge and social scientific research skills in real-life research topics. By taking this course, students will obtain intuitive and direct understanding of the basic procedure of social scientific research method, and learn substantive knowledge about Shanghai and Chinese society. In light of this, the objective of the course is to encourage students to discover some unique aspects of Shanghainese society and China through practicing a social scientific study.
